I am working on a few new concepts for paintings, including some 'Poster' sized artworks. Do keep checking in regularly to see what's new.

Fairytales and daydreams..

I have been busy working on some new ideas, and with the vivid imaginations younger customers Jacob and Hattie, I have created a couple of fairytale style posters. This concept would work with any theme, for instance an animal scene, dinsoaurs / volcanoes, space... The idea is to work on several scales in the one artwork, packing in as much detail as I can and adding in the ususal level of personalisation to create a story book feel. For the Castle, I was given a 'wish list' of whimsical images to include. Jacob wanted a Knight's Castle, swords, shields, horses, and Hattie requested a Rapunzel, and a handsome prince on horseback amongst other magical details.

The December weather is definitely upon us here in Hampshire... the wind is howling outside. I'm off to get the coffee on and then I'll settle down to work. My desk and packing area is like Santa's Grotto as I finish my Christmas orders and get them ready for posting. I am going through vast amounts of brown paper & bubble wrap... and that's before I even start on wrapping my own Christmas presents :( Might have to rope the children in to help me this year!
