The idea is to work on several scales in the one artwork, packing in as much detail as I can and adding in the ususal level of personalisation to create a story book feel.  For the Castle, I was given a 'wish list' of whimsical images to include.  Jacob wanted a Knight's Castle, swords, shields, horses, and Hattie requested a Rapunzel, and a handsome prince on horseback amongst other magical details. http://www.mytinygallery.co.uk/blog/2012/january/fairytales-and-daydreams/ http://www.mytinygallery.co.uk/blog/2012/january/fairytales-and-daydreams/ Tue, 24 January 2012 10:38:00 http://www.mytinygallery.co.uk/blog/2011/december/christmas/ The December weather is definitely upon us here in Hampshire... the wind is howling outside.  I'm off to get the coffee on and then I'll settle down to work.
