Early Spring

We have already had some beautiful early Spring days.  Yesterday I stopped work for a quick lunch break, and wandered out into the garden to hang out some washing.  Before I knew it I was raking and tidying, I even planted a couple of Hellebores that I've had sat around waiting to go in.  I had to be quite strict and send myself back in to work as it would have been so easy to stay out enjoying the hazy sunshine. 
I am thrilled that our two remaining Hens have started laying again and I can now get back to my favourite lunchtime menu of freshly laid poached eggs on toast and a nice strong cup of tea.
